Did you know we have scheduled our first, hands-on workshop for the weekend of May 18-19, 2019?

If you haven’t heard about it; follow the link below to learn more about the event and register online at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/creating-digital-faces-for-law-enforcement-2-day-hands-on-workshop-tickets-58507763295

The workshop – Creating Digital Faces for Law Enforcement is an introduction to what we hope will become a more comprehensive 5-day basic course later this year and possibly a 10-day intermediate course in 2020.

Other short forensic facial imaging courses and some miscellaneous drawing courses are also planned for SketchCop® Academy using Adobe® and Corel® products. Those who cannot attend the workshops will have the option to attend online, once the workshop has been completed.

Does that sound exciting to you? I hope so because I can’t wait to get started!

If you have some ideas about courses you would like to attend, please drop me an e-mail at: [email protected].

To give you a historical perspective on where we first started with our training program, let's take a drive on U.S. 15. That will take us to Las Vegas, NV, where we first began training law enforcement in the art of creating digital faces in 2011.

I love Las Vegas! It’s a vibrant city with plenty of activities. But over time we felt that Orange County was equally vibrant a location with its own unique brand of entertainment and activities. Not to mention the weather is always great with close proximity to the ocean, mountains and Los Angeles/Hollywood.

In April’s newsletter SketchCop® Academy will be announcing our new Orange County, CA location. Having a permanent home will allow us to better serve you and reinforce our online presence on SketchCop® Online Academy, where we have several foundation-building courses.

With our concrete poured, it’s now time to build the house. You can help us by registering for our workshop. In the meantime, please take a moment to watch the video at the bottom of the newsletter to learn more about the work I do...and someday have the opportunity to do yourself!

Thanks again for watching AND reading. Don't forget to register for the workshop at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/creating-digital-faces-for-law-enforcement-2-day-hands-on-workshop-tickets-58507763295

We hope to see you all in May!
